Louisiana Scholarship Program

 

The scholarship program is designed to provide students with additional opportunities to attend the school of their choice. Applicants are eligible to receive state-funded scholarships to enroll in participating nonpublic schools or high performing public schools.
Eligibility Requirements for New Applicants
To be eligible for a scholarship, your child must:
• Be a resident of Louisiana
• Be entering grades 1-12 or entering kindergarten for the 1st time
• Have attended a “C,” “D,” or “F” school for the previous school year or is attending kindergarten for the first time
• Have a family household income that does not exceed the requirements.

How to Apply
Families applying for a Scholarship for a student not currently enrolled as a Scholarship student in grades K-12, MUST confirm their eligibility.
1. Visit https://webapps.doe.louisiana.gov/publicapps/scholarshipsonlineapp/
2. Enter basic information about the child, parent or guardian, and school selections.
3. Bring proof of residency and proof of income to your first choice school site.

ACE Scholarships Louisiana

The Louisiana Tuition Donation Credit Program allows qualified Louisiana children to receive scholarships to qualified K-12 private schools, allowing parents to choose the school that will best prepare their children for college, careers, and for life. ACE Scholarships Louisiana is a School Tuition Organization and offers scholarships to qualified children on a first-come, first-served basis for as long as funds are available. The application period for the 2024-2025 school year will open from February 5 to April 15, 2024. Please visit https://www.acescholarships.org for information. 



ARETE Scholarship

Arete Scholars is helping to break the barriers to academic and personal achievement by expanding access to high-quality educational opportunities. Arete provides private K-12 scholarships exclusively to qualifying low-to-moderate-income students. The scholarships empower those parents who otherwise have no options to select a school that best meets their child's unique gifts, talents, and learning needs.
