Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our entire SES family, we have had a great year. May God bless you and your families with a safe and restful summer!
Thank you and blessings to Sr. Ancilla who will be returning to India this summer. She has blessed our school and community for the past four years with her teaching and her beautiful example for all. She will be missed and fondly remembered by our SES family.
Ms. Loretta Lirette will be leaving her position as Development Director. SES owes such a debt of gratitude to Ms. Loretta for her years of dedication to our school. She was SES’s original Development director and leaves a wonderful legacy for us to continue.
Summer notes – please check the website periodically for information during the summer.
Final Report Cards - We will begin mailing report cards once the Terra Nova results are delivered. All fees must be paid before report cards will be issued. Please contact the office with any questions.

Please check the website for updates. These dates are tentative. We are still waiting for Assumption Parish to provide us with a final calendar including inservice dates in order to finalize the SES calendar.
School Tool Box – order forms for school supplies are being sent home with each child. You may choose to order these through school or purchase on your own. Participtation is not mandatory. If you choose to order through school, orders are due by June 10 in order for the company to process these in time for the opening of school. Late orders will not be honored.
SES Secretary - resumes will be accepted through May 28th for SES secretary.

Lost and Found – There are many jackets and sweatshirts in the office. Please come by and check these out if your child has clothing missing. All jackets will be turned over to the swap shop if not claimed.
Kitchen Items – We also have quite a few kitchen items left over from the fair and other events. Please come by to claim these.

AHS Athletic Summer Camps - Assumption High School is offering the following athletic summer camps: Volleyball , Basketball & Tennis. Registration forms are available in the SES office. Also, we have information reference to tryouts at AHS. Any interested 8th graders who will be attending AHS next year can pick up information in office.

Goodbye to my SES Family-It is with a heavy heart that I have made a decision to retire at the end of this school year. I would like to thank Father Labbe’ for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the SES family. I would also like to thank the faculty, staff, parents and students for making my four years at SES so enjoyable. I will miss you all, but know that you will always be in my heart and prayers. Thanks again for everything! Love you all, Ms. Elaine.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week – Many, many thanks to the wonderful volunteers who treated our faculty and staff like royalty, taking duty and feeding us so well. Thanks also to everyone, students and parents, who wrote notes and sent gifts. We are so appreciative that you entrust your precious children to us.
Snack Sale – this Friday – all items 50 cents
SES Golf Tournament- Thank you to the golf tournament committee who worked so hard to make this fund raiser so successful. Special thanks to everyone who supported the tournament in any way. We are still accepting donations for the 2010 Golf Tournament Memorial Banner that will be placed in the SES gym. Deadline to turn in donations is this Friday, May 14th.

Cheerleder Tryouts 2010 – SES will host a practice for 6th and 7th grade girls interested in trying out for cheerleader next year. Practice will be Thursday, May 13th from 2 – 4 p.m. “Tryouts” will be Friday, May 14th from 2 – 4 p.m. A mandatory parent meeting will be next Tuesday, May 18th at 6 p.m. A letter will be sent home soon. If you have any questions, please call Stacie Rowland.
Beta Club Cookie Dough Sale – Cookie Dough will be in Wednesday, May 12th. A form was sent home today with each child who sold cookie dough. Please indicate on the form pick-up time and return to school by tomorrow.

Welcome back! We hope that everyone had an enjoyable and restful Spring Break.
Teacher Appreciation Week – Several activities have been planned for SES’s faculty and staff in observance of Teacher Appreciation Week. If you would like to volunteer to help out, please contact Scottie Brister at (985) 513-2246.
Mother Seton Award – Mrs. Robin Gaudet will be honored tonight at the Catholic Life Center as the St. Elizabeth School 2010 Mother Seton Recipient. Congratulations and thank you for the many years of service to SES.
May Crowning – Tuesday, May4 at 7:30 am. Procession from school to St. Elizabeth Church. Students traditionally bring flowers to present to Mary during the crowning. Everyone is invited to attend.
Limo Ride to Bayouside Golf Course – Tuesday, May4 for raffle ticket sales and invitation drawing winners. Invitation drawing winners are: Logan Falsetta, Bryce Landry & Sadie Jacobs. The raffle ticket sales winners are: Gabbie Boudreaux, Emma Prejean (Pre-K) and Simone, Danielle & Andre’ Giroir. Auction Winner – Ross Ponville.

SES Golf Tournament – Come join us on Saturday, May 8, 2010 for the 2nd Annual SES Memorial Golf Tournament. We have several sponsorships available. Whether you are a golfer, alumni or just a supporter, get some name recognition for your business or as an individual by having your name displayed at one of the tables or holes on the course. We are also giving anyone the opportunity to make a donation in the name of a loved one. All memorials will be placed on a permanent banner to be hung in the St. Elizabeth School’s gym for many years to come. Even if you don’t play golf, come join us for good food, fun and friends. Cookie Dough Sale- Congratulations to Hayes Rousseau. our top cookie dough salesperson. Hayes sold for $555.00. Thanks to everyone who participated the sale was a huge success!
4-H – Free Admission tickets to the “Down on the Bayou Fair” at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center (April 30-May 9) were given to each child today. These were given to our students by the Assumption Parish 4-H Office.
