8th graders – you may purchase a DVD ($30) or VHS ($25) of your graduation ceremony. Mr. Ric Rousseau also will have available an 8th grade photo montage (what was presented in the gym graduation night) for $10. If interested contact office next week.
S.E.S. summer office hours are: Monday – Thursday 7:00 a.m.-12 noon.

End of School Year- THANKS to all for working together to make this a wonderful year for our children and our S.E.S. School family! We hope that everyone has a restful and safe summer and we look forward to returning for another great school year! Please check the website periodically during the summer. We will continue to post information periodically.
Tuition Reminder – Remember that in order for us to mail out report cards next week, you must be up to date on tuition and your child must be registered for the 2009-2010 session. The final tuition payment for 2008-2009 is due in June.
Retiring – Congratulations to Mrs. Carolyn Naquin who is retiring from SES after 25 years of dedicated service to our children.
Farewell and best wishes to Sr. Rosmy who will be returning to India. She has served our school well over the past 3 years.
Please keep Ms. Stacie Rowland in your thoughts & prayers as she awaits the birth of her new baby this summer.
Thank you to Sr. Anija and Mrs. Alice Gilmore who have been filling in for Sr. Rosmy as she has recovered from surgery.

FACTS Tuition-FACTS Management will be our tuition collection company for the 2009-2010 School Year. If you signed up for auto debit for your tuition payments you will receive an enrollment form in your child’s folder today. Please take the time to fill out the form or you may click on the ecashier logo on the SES Cubs website to enroll online. Either way, please make sure that you enroll by May 15th. May and June payments will be made to Smart Tuition. Beginning in July, payments will be made to FACTS Management. If you choose to receive an invoice, payment will be due on the 1st of each month beginning in July. If you choose auto debit, you will be allowed to choose to have your bank account debited on the 5th or 20th of each month. If you have any questions or need assistance enrolling, please contact the office.
SCRIP News-The final date to order SCRIP for credit to your 2009-2010 Tuition will be May 18th. Please make sure that orders are in the office on Monday before 9:00 a.m. Orders placed the week of the 18th should be picked up in the office on Thursday, May 21st. Summer SCRIP schedule: June 1st, June 29th & July 27th. Orders are due in the office on Monday before 9:00 a.m. and can be picked up on Thursday from 7:00-12:00

Exam Schedule-Exams for 8th graders will be Tuesday-through Thursday (May 12-14). 4th through 7th grade exams will be Friday, Tuesday & Wednesday (May 15, 19 & 20). 1st day exams: Social Studies & English; 2nd day exams: Math and Religion; last day exams: Science and Reading
Accelerated Reader Deadline-is Thursday May 14, 2009. The crazy dress down and ice cream sundae party will be on Monday, May 18th. Students qualifying for the party will be notified on Friday.
2008-2009 Tuition-due dates and additional information were sent home today.
Williams Corporation Grant-SES received a $1,000 technology grant from the Williams Corporation. Thank you to Derek Cavalier. Williams employee and parent of 3rd grader Konnor Cavalier for recommending SES for this grant.
Yearbook sale deadline-is Friday, May 15th. Cost of book-$25
Aftercare-Last day for aftercare is Friday, May 15th. All aftercare money should be in by Thursday, May 21st.
Pre-K, Kn. & 8th Grade Closing programs-Pre-K-Monday, May 18th-8:30 a.m.; Kindergarten-Monday, May 18th – 10:00 a.m.; 8th Grade-Wednesday, May 20th -6:30 p.m.

Dismissal times for week of May 18th-Monday- 2:05 p.m. (full day of school); Tuesday- 11:00 a.m., Wednesday- 11:00 a.m. & Thursday-11:00 a.m. The students will be fed on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.

Good Bye SES!! Sr. Rosmy would like to say a big “Thank You” to our SES family for the support, friendship, and love she has experienced for the last 4 years. Sr. Rosmy has been serving in this country for the last 9 years and is planning to say “Good Bye” by the end of this month and return to India. Sister will be missing SES so much, and she has promised to pray for our students, parents and staff of S.E.S. Thank you S.E.S.!!

Weekly notes-Any parent wishing to receive printed copies of the weekly notes should send a note to the office and a paper copy will be sent weekly.
Aftercare-May 15th will be the last day for Aftercare. All money should be in by May 21st.
Jubilee Year of St. Paul-Letter to Titus-As part of celebrating the Jubilee year of St. Paul, we request all of our parents to spend a few minutes everyday with their children in reading the letters of St. Paul to Philemon in the 1st week of May. Letter of St. Paul to Philemon comes right after the letter to Titus.
Mission Collection- this Friday, May 8th at Mass.

End of School Year-Reminder end of school year is near. All past due balances should be paid before students will be allowed to take exams and receive report cards.
Letter from Catholic Schools Office-Letter from Sr. Mary Michaeline, Supt. of Schools is being sent home today with oldest child reference to H1N1 (swine) flu.
S.E.S. Fair – Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our S.E.S. fair a huge success! “God makes our school a family.” When we work together as a family., we serve both God and our school and we are richly blessed! (Fair made over $70,000)
Fair – Walk/Run-Fun Run T-shirts can still be ordered. Send in name & $10.00 in a sealed envelope by this Friday, May 8th. Also, please check out the Fun Run website at http://sesrunwalk.shutterfly.com/ for results and pictures from Sunday’s run/walk.
Beta Convention -St. Elizabeth School, along with the other schools of the diocese will not be attending the Beta convention in Lafayette.
Limo Ride-Student winners for selling extra tickets are: Gabbie Boudreaux, Jacob LeBlanc and Tyler, Ian and Brennan Simoneaux. Individual student winners for invitations are Lindsey Gros, Ross Ponville and Gage Capello. The limo ride to Bayouside Golf Course for lunch was taken today and lots of fun! Thanks to all of the students and parents who did a little extra to add to the success of our fair!!!
Pajama Day-Thursday, May 7th the 8th grade class is sponsoring a pajama day. The cost is $2.00 per student.
8th grade parent lunch-On Friday, May 15th we will have a parent luncheon in the science lab for parents and students. The cost is $5.00 per person.
