Scrip News – Plan ahead for the Easter Holidays. There will be no scrip orders taken the week of April 6th due to planned vacation for Great Lake Scrip Employees and orders will not be taken the week of April 13th due to the Easter Holidays. Scrip will resume on April 21st.
Report Cards - will be issued tomorrow.
Home & School Meeting - Thursday, March 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. (correction in time from last week)
Accelerated Reader Program - Testing for the 4th 9 weeks resumes today, March 16th.
6th Grade Parent Breakfast - will be Wednesday, March 18th at 7 a.m.
Assumption Parish’s Life on the Bayou - St. Elizabeth School has been invited to provide entertainment at Assumption Parish’s Life on the Bayou celebration on the morning of Saturday, May 2nd. Any Lip Sync groups willing to participate, please call the office for more information.
Abbey Fest Updates - All of our 7th & 8th graders are to meet at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21st at St. Elizabeth Church parking lot. We are expected to be back around 11:00 p.m. All information reference to dress code and what you will need to bring was sent home today.
Jubilee Year of St. Paul -Letters to Timothy – As part of celebrating the Jubilee Year of Timothy, we request all of our parents to spend a few minutes everyday in reading the letters of St. Paul to Timothy in the 3rd & 4th week of March. Timothy comes right after the letters to the Thessalonians.
Sodality Hours-The following 7th & 8th graders have turned in their Sodality hours: 7th Grade:Caleb Gaudet, Tionne Jacobs, Tyler Johnson, Natalie LeBlanc, Josh Molliere and Thaddeus Pennison; 8th Grade:Hannah Arvel, Colby albarado, Payton Coddou, Meghan Coupel, Christian Moore, Ramon Oliver, Tyler Simoneaux, Shederick Weatherspoon and Raven Wilson. Congratulations!
Accelerated Reading Field Trip-has been set for April 23rd. 1st graders will go on a special trip to the Assumption Parish Library on Wednesday April 22nd.
Terra Nova Testing-will be the week of March 30-April 3rd.
LEAP Testing-will be April 1st – April 7th for our 8th grade. Letter was sent home today reference to the testing.
Spelling Bee-words sent home today. Students who qualify for the Spelling Bee will receive a dress down pass and a bonus “A” in Spelling.
Relay for Life News-Assumption Parish Relay for Life will be Saturday, April 2nd. A representative will be at SES tomorrow to check for luminaries. If you would like to purchase luminaries ($10 each) and/or torches ($50 each) , please send a note with your donation to school. Please include your name and phone number, specify if you want a luminary or torch, and clearly print the name of the person you wish to honor or remember. On torches, you may also include up to three names from whom the torch is given. All money raised will be donated to the Relay for Life on behalf of the SES team.
Book Fair-schedule for this week is as follows: Tues. 3-17:K.,3rd, 5th, 6th; Wed.3-18:PK., 8th, Make-ups begin; Thurs.3-19: All make-ups will be completed, Family Night at the Book Fair; Fri.3-20:Book Fair closes -Book Fair clean-up only
