World’s Finest Chocolate- Chocolate covered almonds will be available on Tuesday.  If you would like additional almonds to sell, please call the office or send a note.

Fall Book Fair- October 24-28.  Schedules were sent home today with the oldest child.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest- SES Cub Fest;  Friday, October 28, 2011
PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST RULES:
 1.    Bring your decorated pumpkin to school between 6:45 – 7:30 am on Friday, October 28, 2011.
2.    The judges will begin judging at 8:30 am and winners will be announced before school is dismissed Friday, October 28, 2011.
3.    Judges will be looking for most original, funniest, prettiest, and age appropriateness for each category.
4.    Competing categories are as follows:
     Pre-K3 to Pre-K
     Kn to 1st
     2nd to 4th
     5th to 8th
      This year we are pleased to announce that there will also be two new competing categories:
     Groups (consisting of 2 students including related students) and/or
     Family (consisting of 1 or more persons; mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa)
 5.    Please pick-up your pumpkin by the end of the day Friday, October 28, 2011.
6.    Full name, age and grade, category must be on the back of the entry.

Red Ribbon Week Reminder- Students may wear Red Shirts with jeans and uniform shoes on Monday.  Please see weekly notes for the remainder of the weeks schedule.
