Welcome back! We hope that everyone had an enjoyable and restful Spring Break.
Teacher Appreciation Week – Several activities have been planned for SES’s faculty and staff in observance of Teacher Appreciation Week. If you would like to volunteer to help out, please contact Scottie Brister at (985) 513-2246.
Mother Seton Award – Mrs. Robin Gaudet will be honored tonight at the Catholic Life Center as the St. Elizabeth School 2010 Mother Seton Recipient. Congratulations and thank you for the many years of service to SES.
May Crowning – Tuesday, May4 at 7:30 am. Procession from school to St. Elizabeth Church. Students traditionally bring flowers to present to Mary during the crowning. Everyone is invited to attend.
Limo Ride to Bayouside Golf Course – Tuesday, May4 for raffle ticket sales and invitation drawing winners. Invitation drawing winners are: Logan Falsetta, Bryce Landry & Sadie Jacobs. The raffle ticket sales winners are: Gabbie Boudreaux, Emma Prejean (Pre-K) and Simone, Danielle & Andre’ Giroir. Auction Winner – Ross Ponville.
Beta Convention – May 6-7
Snack Sale – this Friday – all items 50 cents
SES Golf Tournament – Come join us on Saturday, May 8, 2010 for the 2nd Annual SES Memorial Golf Tournament. We have several sponsorships available. Whether you are a golfer, alumni or just a supporter, get some name recognition for your business or as an individual by having your name displayed at one of the tables or holes on the course. We are also giving anyone the opportunity to make a donation in the name of a loved one. All memorials will be placed on a permanent banner to be hung in the St. Elizabeth School’s gym for many years to come. Even if you don’t play golf, come join us for good food, fun and friends. SES Birthday Calendar – It’s time again for our 56th edition of the SES Community Birthday Calendar. Order forms will be sent home with the oldest child this week. If more order forms are needed, please contact the office.
SES 2008-2009 Yearbook – Yearbooks are in and will be distributed this week. We apologize for the delay.
SES School Board Meeting -Monday, May 10 at 6:30 pm in the Science Lab. Everyone is invited to attend.
AR Points – To qualify for the AR Books, Burgers, and Bingo, students must have AR points by Wednesday, May 12. Time must be given for permission slips and final arrangements.
AR Deadline – The last day to test for AR is Friday, May 14. Points received on May 13 and 14 do not count for the trip.
Early Dismissal – Wednesday, May 12th students will be dismissed at 11 am
Books, Burgers, and Bingo – Monday, May 17 for those students who qualify.
8th Grade Exams – May 18-20
4th – 7th Grade Exams – May 21, 25, 26.

Day 3 – Social Studies, English
PreK, Kindergarten, 8th Grade – Last day of classes – May 21
PreK and Kindergarten Closing Programs- Monday, May 24th. Pre-K will be at 8:30 a.m. and Kn. at 10:00 a.m.
8th Grade Closing – Thursday, May 27 at 7pm.
SES Awards Day for 1st -7th grades – Thursday, May 27 at 8:00 am
Cafeteria Schedule
May 24 – Last day for breakfast
May 25-26 – Lunch only
May 27 – No cafeteria Service
Early Dismissal – Students will be dismissed at 11 am on May 25-27. Assumption Parish buses will be running each day.
Last day for After Care – will be May 21st.
Cookie Dough Sale- Congratulations to Hayes Rousseau. our top cookie dough salesperson. Hayes sold for $555.00. Thanks to everyone who participated the sale was a huge success!
4-H – Free Admission tickets to the “Down on the Bayou Fair” at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center (April 30-May 9) were given to each child today. These were given to our students by the Assumption Parish 4-H Office.
AHS Athletic Summer Camps – Assumption High School is offering the following athletic summer camps: Volleyball , Basketball & Tennis. Registration forms are available in the SES office. Also, we have information reference to tryouts at AHS. Any interested 8th graders who will be attending AHS next year can pick up information in office.
